Dear all,

Was boxing day yesterday! This was where everything would start to take out their presents and open them.

I woke up around 10 am yesterday and I stayed home for a while to do some things.

I went out around 1pm to Marina Square and Suntec to get some stuffs for my friends.

Nothing much for today!!

Is Christmas time...... hohoho....... Santa is coming....... haha!

I went to church early in the morning. The usual thing we do was to sing carols together. After that, our church drama department presented us a drama entitled "Operation Save the Earth". The story was about how angels were called upon God to help both Mary and Joesph who gave birth to baby Jesus. It was really interesting!

After church, I went down to Old Airport Road Hawker Centre to meet my parents for breakfast. We have Cha Xiu Noodles.

We went back home after that! I took a rest at home first before I went for my next appointment. I went to meet up with Weizhong for dinner. We went to Ajisen at Causeway Point. Quite disappointing! The food was not really done very well.

After dinner, I went to Weizhong's place to rest for a while.

After that, I went to join Marilyn, Marilyn's bro Feng, Kenny, Evelyn and Jeffery for prawning at Bishan! It was really interesting. Really testing my patience. At the end, Kenny managed to catch two prawns. Excellent, Kenny!

What a day of Christmas! Although I felt a bit boring, I have done something unique!!

Boxing Day tomorrow..... everybody starts your engine to open your Christmas gifts!!!

Take care and God Bless!!

Today is Christmas Eve! A day we remember our baby Jesus is coming into this Earth soon!!

I sleep until quite late today. It has been so long since I did that.

I went out in the evening to have dinner with Jeffery and his wife, Marilyn, Kenny, Evelyn and Zhiquan at the Marina Barrage. There was a steamboat restaurant over there.

That day was raining and windy.... so cooling. I like it. We have a very traditional steamboat that was heated up by charcoal. So interesting...... There were really lots of food items such as fish balls.... besides that, we also order a half chicken and sweet & sour fish!

After that, we took a slow walk at the Marina Barrage, of course this time round, we took some photos.

After the walk, we went to Mustafa to buy some stuffs. Even though I have been here for quite sometimes, I really felt very surprise with the amount of things they sold....hehe!!

What a day! Is 2359hrs already......5, 4, 3, 2, 1..... MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Enjoy the festive season!!

Hey, I'm back

I went over to Yusof Ishak Sec today to take a look at their Band. I went to help to teach the Trumpet Section and F.Horn Section! That day was really bad as not all the members were not there. Was quite a waste of time but I only there to take a look so I did not comment on that.

I went through the Set piece with them in the morning and their Choice piece in the afternoon. Overall, it was really hard to teach the F.Horn because sometimes the students tend to forget and their pitching were not that good. As for the Trumpeters, both of them were all right.

I will have to go back to NV to coach the trumpeters when the Band starts next Tuesday!

During lunch, I went to the nearby eating place with Mr Tan and Mr Ng. We have claypot together. The food at Bukit Batok was really nice.....

After the band practice, Mr Ng drove me back to Ang Mo Kio...... I went & get some stuffs and went back home to put my instrument before I meet my friends for dinner at Orchard.

Jianneng, Guowei and I went to Shokudo at the Heeren for dinner. This was my third time coming to this restaurant. I have Chicken Kansa curry. Got a number to food.

After that, we went to have tea at Paragon Coffee Club where we have our desert. We got the famous mudpie. It was really heavenly!! All of you should go and try!

After that, we walked around Orchard and took photo. I will post them later!!

Dear all,

I went back to school on Monday to do the post-concert matters. Returning all the instruments borrow from Gan Eng Seng Pri and Holy Innocent Sec. Just want express my greatly thanks to the teachers-in-charge for lending us. Not only that, I went back to school to deal with the concert stuffs.

After that, I went out with Jeffery, Marilyn and Kenny for dinner at Paris International Buffet at Marina Square. The food there was really nice..... well spread of food. We were discussing about the new plan for the Alumni Band next year.

After the dinner, we went to Marina Barrage to take a walk. It was so windy that day and you thought it was really winter in Singapore...hehe.....

That's all for today! See you all tomorrow!!

Dear All,

sorry for not updating my blog recently due to the preparation for my school Band concert. Yesterday was the concert for North Vista Symphonic Band (NVSB), together with North Vista String Ensemble (NVSE) and North Vista Alumni Band (NVAB).

We have come so far to perform in the Victoria Concert Hall (VCH). This was our 2nd time that we come back to VCH since 2004. You could probably say a homecoming concert.

It was really months of hardwork for all the performers to come to this far. To be frank, this is my 2nd Vista Musica that I felt so much pressure and stress. Not only I'm a player, I'm also have to be in-charge of the logistics aspect of the concert. It was really massive. Even though it was really tired, I have learnt lots of valuable experience from all parts.

Before that, I was in school around 7.30 am before going for breakfast for my brother, Cher Hui. After that, I started to check what were the stuffs the band need for that night concert. The school rehearsal started at 08.3oam. I need to run two places today from AVA to LT to check whether everything was on schedule. Everybody was going through their stuffs and by 11am, the buses and lorry arrived, we brought all the instruments and logistics up and we were off to VCH for our final rehearsal at 1pm.

When we reached VCH, the banner was already installed up, so efficient. Then we started the rehearsal proper. We went through the whole concert to see how it was..... During the rehearsal, I was super stressed with the chairs arrangement. It went horribly wrong during the actual rehearsal at the combined Band position. We got everything correct in school but it was not turned well at VCH. I nearly broke down. So Ee Ching came in to give a hand, lucky we managed to deal with it but in my heart, I'm still worry.

After the rehearsal, we all got ready for the big day at 5pm. I went out to the tix counter to see how they do and went back to change. The moment of true was here. The concert started sharp at 5pm. First up, the Main Band started the ball rolling. The songs they played were St Peterburg March, Flight of Valor, Asian Rhasphoy...... after that a 20 mins interval, the String Ensemble was next, this was their first time playing in a public performance. Next, the Percussion Ensemble playing two songs. The storm was quite & interesting item from them. The moment for me to perform was here. The Alumni Band performed three pieces: Evergreen '70, I only care for u and Disco Party III. It was really good as I could feel that everyone of us were doing our best. The audience were really sporting and I felt that applause was really good. Just want to say a big thank you to my friends who have come and support me and the Band. I really appreciated it.

After the whole concert, we packed up and went back to school.

Once I got the I will post it in my facebook, will put a link in my blog when I do it.

Dear all,

I'm back to update again! I hope everybody is having a good time during the holidays.

This week was an exciting one for me as I attended a number of fun activities.

First up, I went for a two days one night camp with my school ODAC group at Pasir Ris Park. We met at the Pasir Ris Interchange around 9am.Then we walked over to our campsite. Cher Hui, Chee Yong , Sze Dee and me started to set up our tent. It was really interesting as it been sometimes Since I built my own tent. Unfortunately it was raining for a while. Thank God that it stopped. So the rest of the activities continued. I saw them playing some bonding games like Captain Ball. In the evening, we have BBQ. The students prepared the food on the spot, was really like eating at a buffet Haha!! Cher Hui started the fire and the rest of us help him as well. Together with Yuan An, we went to cook noodle for our dinner. It was really like our mini Boys gathering. After that, we went back to have a bit of BBQ food with Soon May. We have a bit of chicken and our favourite marshmallow coated with choco syrup. So devil.

After that sumutous meal, we went back to our tent to rest. We played cards for a while and of course not forgetting to look at the stars! So nice! Chee Yong, Cher Hui and I chatted for a while where we dozed off.

Hey, All....

I have an unfortunate day this week as my Compaq laptop disappoint me. The screen was spoil. I have to go and repaired it. Not only that, my previous Acer laptop for five years, crashed as well. My father came to tell me he does not have a computer to use. So after thinking thru and discussed with my brother, we decided to give the Compaq one to my dad to use. So I will have to go to Sitex to look for one.

Firstly, I just want to say sorry to my next year Sec 3 students that I will not be able to teach all of you already as I was deployed to teach the Lower Sec again even though I have requested to follow all of you up. Thanks for all the joy you have brought me for the past year. Really appreciated and grateful to you all. I will still be around, so if you need any assistance, I will definitely be there for you. I was rejected due to my inexperience. A bit sad actually when I heard that.

Come back to what I'm going to tell you in my previous update. On Tuesday, my friends Simon and Christina brought me to The Cookie Museum at the Esplanade Mall. It was really a nice place. They ordered some fruit tea to drink. It was really nice. I enjoyed the tea very much. Besides that, there were also Cookies sampling. There were savoury cookies and fruit cookies. Savoury cookies such as Laska, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Curry Crab. I was quite overwhelmed by them. Interesting cookies I could say. The taste were really like those you eat for lunch. Fruit cookies included Blueberry, Lemon...... I really enjoyed myself on that. A special thanks to Simon and Christina.

Went back for Band on Thursday for stock-take with Mr Wee. It was not really that good as I cork up some stuffs. Seriously I have to learn from this mistakes and tightened the procedure of the instruments. One good thing is that most of the instruments are accounted for. That one was really relieved. If any instruments were lost, it would not be very good. I have to come out with a list of damaged instruments and instruments that needed to be condemn. Overall, this was a good learning experience.

Is Friday today, went back to school in the late morning to settle some stuffs. I left around 3 plus. Suppose to go to Vivo to watch a show but it was too late...... so eventually went to Plaza Singapura to watch "The Sky Crawlers". It was a Japanese anime on fighter pilots. The story was really slow....... I only can give a 3 stars.......

Well, that's all, folks..... tomorrow need to go back for Alumni Band practice...... Band Concert coming in 3 weeks..... so nervous...... I have not really practice the pieces yet.

So if anyone wants to give your support to me and my School Band, the concert will be held on the 20 Dec 2008, at Victoria Concert Hall, 5pm to around 7pm. Tickets are sold at $10 Stalls and $12 Circles.

Good nite and have a great weekend!!

Tuesday, November 25, 2008

Dear All,
I back again. Hope that everybody is enjoying their holidays either working or playing.

We have our Staff Retreat for 2 Days this year. For the 1st day, we have bonding games in school. I was really fun playing with our colleagues. After that, we were assigned to go out for external scan of what the industries are doing. My group went to the Singapore Polytechnic Engineering Faculty to learn about their Clean Energy Initiative. It was really an eye-opener for me on how the course was structured to meet the needs of the environment. I was thinking of maybe my future career would be here.....haha

After that, we went back to school to do a short presentation on the trip.

With all the presentation from other groups, we were treated to a talk by Adam Khoo' company on Generation Y. The main topic were how to talk to them and the techniques to woo this generation over. I find it interesting and hope to use that in my lesson.

The next day, we went to Civil Service Club near Farrer Park for our internal scan. Mainly is about school stuffs. So I'm not going to talk much to bored all of you.

Last Monday, 24 Nov....... went to VCH for the Band Concert Rehearsal. We really busy looking around the place and also getting ready the logistics aspect of the rehearsal. Need to check that the chairs and stands were in position. The band members were really slowed and we have to rush them to do things quick. First up was the technical run from the main band...... marching onto the stage was not that bad, could be improved.

Next was the String Ensemble rehearsing. I needed to get the sitting arrangement ready for them to rehearse. Not only that, I also needed to check whether the arrangement was correct. While listening to them play, I really felt that they have improved a lot. Not that bad for their first rehearsal.

After that, was the Main Band turn to rehearsal. Overall, they were not up to standard yet. Seriously have to go back to school to put in more work. Really very frustrating especially they did not see the importance for the concert. I really hope that can put in a lot more effort into it. A big thank you to the Seniors who have come back to play with them.

Well, that's all folks..... I try to keep my entry as short as possible so that you all don't feel bored.

Next updated, I will tell you all about the trip to Biscuit Musuem at the Esplanade with my friends yesterday. It is really a posh and interesting place.

Dear All,

It has about a month since I updated my blog....... I have some sort gone through lots of stuffs for the last week four week.

I was down at Pei Hwa for the "O" Level Invigilation for around three weeks. It was a good experience so far. The students at Pei Hwa were really polite. I was really impression by it. I also met a few teachers from other schools as well. Pei Hwa's school hall is air-condition. The students could actually take their exams in a cooling environment. So good.

Besides doing invigilation, I also went back to school clean up my table and also do some preparation for the THIMUN. You might be wonder what was that? Well, it was the United Nation Conference in Singapore. This conference allowed students to discuss and debate world affairs ranging from Human rights, development and the environment. This year theme was 'Climate Change', a relevant topic for the world as we are currently experience weird season. It was held again at Hwa Chong Instituation from 19 - 22 Nov 08.

By the way, I just came back the from the conference. I was really tired after the last four days over there. Overall, it was another interesting conference where I saw high ability students express their passion for the topics. There were also jokes and laughter as well. At the second last day, we have a Dinner and Dance at Orchidville at Mandai. The atmosphere was nice. The food was wonderful. Managed to see my students dancing at the dance floor.

Well, I will continue again later to tell all of you a little bit about my Staff Retreat and the Victoria Concert Hall Rehearsal for my school Band upcoming concert.

Take Care!! Miss you all!

Friday, October 24, 2008

Hey, All

Sorry for not blogging for about a month because of the exams. Yesterday was the last day of school.... probably I could say I would not be seeing my students again until next year. Is time to pack up the stuffs for this year and reflect on what I have done through the year.

Overall, I could say that I'm sad that my students are not doing that well for their exams. However, I do console myself that I have done my best. Immediately after I have finished marking my papers, disappointment was always in my mind. Questions such as what wrong with them, why they did not study come to me...... slowly pass my mind. Sometimes can be quite unbearable for me not to talk to them. However, I will try not too..... a problem mind I guess

I felt better last week and have to put it aside to concentrate on the upcoming projects which are the Year-End Band Concert and THIMUN.

THIMUN was not as easy as I think this year especially I still have a bit of difficulties getting people to join. In the end, I have no choice but to only select a group of 6 to participate it. I have to hurry to spot people straight away.

I'm also down for the "O" Level invigilation at Pei Hwa Secondary School. Not a bad experience. The students are really well behaved and well trained. I am totally blow away by their behaviour. When the students come into the hall, they will automatively stand the left hand side of the table. Not only that, when they asked for papers, they are very polite. Really hope that our students at NV will also like that.

As for the Year-End Band Concert, we are currently training hard for it. I will be performing with the Alumni Band that day. This time round, I am playing the French Horn instead of my usual instrument, the Trumpet. A bit hard as I have not been playing the French Horn for a long time. Lucky, I am slowly catching up. Really hope to play my best during the concert. Guys, hope that you can come and support me and my band. It will be held on the 20th Dec at Victoria Concert Hall.

Besides that, I also went out for dinner with Cher Hui at Compass. Thanks for the company, brother..... enjoy the time when I'm with you.

I will try to update all of you as much as I can.

Take care everybody and for the "O" Level students, all the best.
For the rest, enjoy yr holidays and don't go crazy....hehe!!

It was really happy and sad to see him go but is a journey we have to go thru in life. Later on four of us went to Wang Cafe to have breakfast, Kaya toast, tea and eggs. Later talking away laughing our hearts. We too photos as well after the breakfast. Its really something we will not forget.

Above : Jarryl, Jia Xin and Guan Jie

After that, we send him off to the departure gate. It was a sad moment for me but I held on to my tears not to cry. Take care, bro..... we will truly miss you...... All the best over there and study hard!!
An Enjoyable Day (Part II)

Immediately after the Forum, I rush over to AMK Hub to meet my friend who is bringing me to watch Elva Xiao showcase concert at the Max Pavillon at Singapore Expo.

Before that, we eat at New York New York at the Basement. I eat the Vegetable Lasagne.
As we are running late, we take a cab down from AMK.

When we reached there, there are already long row of queues to get into the venue. I can tell u..... wow... so many people. Finally we manage to squeeze into the venue.

We waited still 8.3o pm until FM 93.3 DJs come out to introduce Elva..... it is really a interesting experience. She sings some new songs in her latest album and some old ones as well. It is reallly a walk in memory land as I heard Elva's songs before..... Below are some photos, I have taken for you all to enjoy... sorry that it a bit small.....

An Enjoyable Day (Part I)

Today is the long awaited PAYM Policy Forum @ Ang Mo Kio GRC. Finally after many months of planning. For does of you who do not those what is this, is actually a Forum organised by the Youth Executive Groups from different CC in AMK GRCs. We will invite Youth from 21 to 35 to come together to express their way on certain topics and issues.

The topic is Arrival of the Stork - Bliss or Woe?. It is mainly touching on the recent low birth rate in Singapore and provide responses on whether the policies are helping a not. It is quite an exciting and interesting experience .... I am selected as one of the three faciliators for the breaking up discussion groups. It is really interesting to talk to different people in my group and most of them are really active in expressing their way.
After that, we invite three panelists in to take the Forum proper. They are Dr Helen Chen, Psychiatrist from KK hospital; Ms Chong Cheh Hoon, Vice-President (Content) from Family Focus and Dr Lam Pin Min, MP.

All of them give us an interesting view about this issue and I feel that Ms Chong's explanation is the best. I will write some interesting point. She says that the reason why Generation Y (which is us) are not getting married is because there is a mind-set change and egotist. They don't want to listen to Generation X (which is our parents) on any issues. This generation is very brand caution and they prefer self-fulfillment. Any answers, they just for it on the internet.

Straight away after this, we went straight into Q & A about this topics. At first is a bit slow, but it started to pick up.

In end with a good note and we all enjoy ourselves with dinner and a group photo. Below is the poster designed by my Youth Group member, Agnotti and also my official pass....haha!!

To be continued.....

The September Holiday Week

Today is Friday 5 Sept 2008, 5 days have gone for the September holiday and I can say that it is can enriching and enjoyable one.

The whole of the week I conducted extra classes for my Sec 1 and 2N1 classes. I am really thankful for them who have come, to all of you I really appreciate it.

Besides that, I have done a few activities this week as well.

First up, I went with a few friends to watch Wall-e..... really interesting. At first it was like a slient movie and progressively conversation starts to develop. I quite like the excitement about Wall-e on the space ship..... really nice. This movie is really an environmental awareness show.

After that, I rushed to my student's farewell party. Well, quite bad luck for me, I lost my way.... and I have troubled Jia Xin's mother to drive me there..... I seriously have a good time eating and talking to him and some students as well. Not only that, he also performed for us by playing the piano. He was really a talented person. To be frank, I really going to miss such a good student. Jia Xin, all the best, you are surely be missed by me and your classmates.

Today, I also went out for a movie with another group of friends, we went to watch "Money not enough II"at Vivocity GV. This was the movie that I laugh and also felt sad about. At first, there are lots of lame jokes which are really funny. The most touching one part is right at the end about the mother. The old mother suffered from Alzheimer's disease and her sons still did not take care of her properly. At the end, she was send to the Old Folks Home and felt sad that her son did not want her. She refused and fainted. I felt really sad. It really remind me of my late grandma who suffered from stork and we cannot take care of her. So the moral of the story is to always respect your parents when they are around. After that, we have dinner at Republic Vivo. I really liked this place.... so many things to eat and also some unique foods as well.
Just want to thanks Gary for organising, Nicholas, Jia Xin, Yi Liang, and two more... sorry for forgetting their names..... apologise... for going.... I enjoyed myself.....

Well, tomorrow is another day..... band practice and meeting..... before I go, all the best to Yang Jia for his Frisbee Competition..... do you best.... I am there to support you.

I have to go already...... You all take care..... loving you all!!

Saturday, August 23, 2008

Hey, all

Sorry for not been updating my blog for a long long time. Just want to share with all of you a video clip that I took tonight at the Esplanade. I went over there to take a look at the Singapore Fireworks Celebration 2008. This is one of the highlights of the National Day Celebrations. The fireworks is done by award-winning Korean pyrotechnic team Woojin (source from Weekend Today). The title of tonight's firework is called 'Korean Fantasia' (Source from www.fireworks.com.sg).

This around 15 mins long... I guess.... I know is going to be a quite short if you are going to download it. Enjoy!!

Today was quite an enriching day for as I brought accompany a group of students to Dunman Secondary School to attend an Enviro-Life Sciences Sympoism. It was quite interesting listening to the Keynote speaker from NUS telling us about doing research and being a researcher. I went to visit the booths setup by both Dunman Secondary and various other schools.

After that, I together with Olivier and two more students went back to school to put their project back. I went up to the hall to see how my Alumni Band were doing. Not that bad, I finally heard a trombone sound. Thanks to Melvin and Jeffery for coming back to play. I conducted the two pieces that we are going to play for the year-end concert on the 20 Dec 2008. Later, I went for lunch with them at Compasspt KFC....... saw Tong Kiat, Junhao and Alex.... managed to talk to them for a while....

After eating, I went down to Borders to get some stuffs before I went back home..... after that, I went straight to Esplanade after I completed charging my hp.

After the whole fireworks thingy has finished, I walked all the way to Central at Clarke Quay to take a train back. The whole Esplanade garden was full of people and I found it difficult to even get out of there....haiz.... worst still, Marina Square area was preparing for the F1 Nite Race.... so the pathway was some sort closed. I reached Clarke Quay station and took a train back to Serangoon Station. Took Bus 315 back home then.

Well, have to go mates....... will catch with you all again

Take care everybody...... miss you all!!

The spread of food were really nice..... I ate until I'm super full....haha! After the dinner, we went back to the train station and he left for home. As for me, I continued my movie nite. This time I went to Cathay cinema to watch "Driving Lessons". Is a movie about a dysfunctional family and how this 18 years of boy grew up maturely with many encounters in his life. Is some sort like a literature show with poems as the main focus. I like that show a lot.

At first, I thought that my friend Wilson and Guowei were here to drove me home.... I got a surprise of my life. They baked a cake and some cookies for me. So interesting...... so we went to Mount Faber to have a cake-cutting ceremony.... this was around 3.30 am..... gosh.... I must be crazy....haha..... stilll got YCM meeting at 9am..... Trip Down Under Part IV

9th March 2008

Finally, we reached the Acer Arena...... We all entered the doors and went straight up the gate of the arena. We managed to get seats at the second level.... quite a good view to the stage. It was 1700hrs local time (1400hrs SIN), the recording officially started. Joel Houston, one of the main worship pastors from the worship and Arts, started of telling us about this recording. It is about praising God and let the world know it greatness..... let’s us put our worship to Him tonight. It was really good, the atmosphere was great, I really felt the Holy Spirit was around us. I felt the power around the whole arena. There were a lot of new worship leaders this year and I think our church has indeed went into the next level of worship. I took a few photos from the event. You all could enjoy it.

After the recording, Marvin and Wenqi brought me to Statfield to have Korean BBQ. It was really nice especially during Autumn. We cooked our own food at the stove in front of us. I am very full...hehe!

After that, I went back to my friend’s place….. this is the end of my 3rd day here…

My Trip Down-under Part III

9th March 2008 (Saturday)

Dear all,

Sorry that I have to continue with my journey down under again.

I woke up around 0700hrs local time (0300hrs SIN) and got ready to take a bus to Central to catch the church bus to Hillsong Church. I told a bus down to Chinatown to get breakfast. I went to my favourite cake shop, St Helen to get my bread. After that, I walked slowly to Central Station to take the bus. I hopped on the bus and off I go.

Finally I reached Hillsong Church, my parent church...... I cannot forget my four years in this church, really miss the praise and worship to our beloved God. I met Marvin and Wenqi..... and we went in for service. I was overwhelmed with the service and also a guest speaker that spoke about what God wants us to do. They were Praise, Purpose, Provision, Pardon and Protection.
The service ended with a praise song. I went out of the hall and out to the car park. I waited for Pris, my CG leader in Sydney to pass me the ticket for tonight’s Hillsong Album Recording at the Acer Arena.

After that, I caught up with my other church friends. It was really wonderful.
I went out of church with Marvin and Wenqi for lunch at Kensington. We went to our favourite Indonesia Restaurant to eat. I like the BBQ Chicken and rice.....so nice and chilli is spicy. After lunch, both Marvin and Wenqi drove me to the city to take a walk before I met them at 1600hrs local time (1300hrs SIN) to go to the recording.

I went to the city to take a walk... I went over to Krispy Kreme the famous donut shop that is originated from the States. It actually moved out of its old premise to a new one next to Wynyard Station. The taste was memorable. I think the donuts here really cannot match those in Singapore. It was about time, so I rush back to St Michael College to meet the guys!

Here we go.... to recording.... Marvin drove us to the Acer Arena at Olympic Park.

To be continued......
My Trip Down-under Part II

8th March 2008 (Saturday)

Finally I reached Sydney Kingsford International Airport at around 1105hrs local time (0805hrs SIN). At the arrival hall, I went through the customs with a slight problem, the officer was asking me why I did not put the full address of where I am staying..... delayed a bit but luckily I was able to go through. Really thankful to God. I went to get my bag with both Eugene and Yong Sheng at the luggage area. After that we got our bags we went out of the airport. I bid goodbye to them and I headed down to Aldrich’s place at Alexandria by cab.

Finally I reached his place.... so long never see this good friend of mine..... We went for lunch at Newtown and have a good chat at a Thai restaurant. After that we slowly walked back and chat about how life was when we are staying together as housemates.

I stayed at his place the whole day without going out. We settled dinner at home. I cooked Japanese Curry and a bunch of vegetable. Aldrich cooked the rice and also green tea with lime.... really very nice.... After that, we went back into his room to do our individual stuffs. He was playing games and I was marking my test papers. To be frank, this was the most relaxing time I have marking, without any disturbance. Along the way, we also chatted with each other..... My Trip Down-under Part I

7th March 2007 (Friday)

Today is the starting of my journey back to Sydney, Australia since I left one and a half years ago. It is really exciting and also a walk down memory line. I reached Changi Airport T3 at around 10pm. Went in to the check-in counter 4 of the Singapore Airlines counter and check in my bag. After that, I went for a drink with my youngest brother and his girlfriend. It was roughly about 11.20pm and I need to start boarding the plane bound for Sydney. I went through the departure gate and through the automated custom machine and I am off to my gate. There are really lots of people lining up to get on the plane. Finally it was my turn to go across the security door. I slowly walked over to the plane. At 12.20am on the 8th March 2008, the plane departed T3. Bye Bye Singapore.

On the plane, I managed to meet up with two Singapore guys studying in UNSW. So cool to have talked to them. They are Eugene and Yong Sheng. After eating the snack, I was fast asleep along the way. Zzzzzzz!! I only woke up 3hrs upon arrival in Sydney. I have breakfast and then watch a few movies on Krisworld.

The Visit to the Singapore Airshow 08

Hey, all

Sorry for the delay of the Singapore Airshow 08.... I did not actually took a lot of photos but I did enjoyed myself there as I show my favourite aircraft - the A380..... I managed to get the ticket and took off. This is the first time that the Airshow was held at a new venue at Changi North Exhibition Hall. I was in time for the air show... that featured the Black Knights from the RSAF... they are really cool. After that, I went into the exhibition centre to take a look at the different aircraft technology...... it was really advanced.

After I went out to watch the Static Aircraft Display Area, I saw the A380 slowly going into its parking position. It was huge in real-life. Besides this aircraft, there are also the F16 and F35.

After the whole experience, I went back.... Was about to take the bus back to Pasir Ris, but the queue was too long. So I have no choice but to walk out of the place. It was really a long walk.... and in the end you all don't believe where I have walked to to catch bus. I went to the Changi Cargo Terminal which is near the SAF Ferry Terminal to Tekong..... wow....

Enjoyed the photos!!!
The Past 2 Mths

Hey, Everybody

Sorry for not updating my blog for the past 2 mths. Immediately at the start of the year, I have already been busy with stuffs in school. Yup, the new school term has started for me and I am currently at my 8th month of my teaching career. That's fast. I really can't wait for June to come as it will mark my one year in teaching.

For the past 2 mths, it was both a rough, sad and sometimes smooth, happy moments that I have experienced. I remember during the middle of January, I was in a week of sadness. I am a person who care about people very much and sometimes this has become a chore. I am a action person, and sometimes people may felt uncomfortable. From this incident, I have pull back a bit but I really felt I am not myself...... probably trying not lose my job you can say if I do it again. Well, I have slowly picked it up a little. Feel like a stranger talking to the person I care for after the incident. Is human nature I guess.... well, time will tell I guess.

Besides this incident, I do enjoyed myself during the Lunar New Year Period in Feb. I did not went visiting as I did not have much relatives around. I went to visit my good friend, Weizhong instead. He invited me over for CNY dinner at his place. On the third day of CNY, I went to the Sentosa Flower Show, really nice seeing so many beautiful flowers. I were sinking in it. Will post the photos when I have the time.

Recently, I think I am a frantic in watching movies. During the weekends, I have already watched so much I really cannot believe it myself...haha! Here are some of the movies I have watched so far. Jumper, Ah Long Pte Ltd. Just yesterday, I have watched 'PS I love u' and on Friday nite, 'the Leap Years'. I was really so touching, I really cried over it. I remember in the movie the Leap Years. the girl (Li Ann) acted by Wong Li LIn, said one thing, "Is better to have loved and lost, then never to have loved at all "

I have to end here first. I will update my blog later about my trip to the Singapore Air Show today. See you later! Have to alight the bus!
